Never before had survival of the Human race been so closely tied with the People´s cause, its Liberation from capital.
Marx talked about the end of the humankind prehistoric times which draws closer as the peoples struggle for it. Nowadays, the peoples´ struggle is aiming at the transformation of human consciousness which should lead us to the survival of the species. Such a scenario would translate into the end of capitalist ruling over human life.
President Chavez has been able to interpret in a truly profoundly manner the hidden political motives behind the world powers´opposition to save the planet. The world powers know it: Giving in to the demands of nature would inevitably lead to the surrender of the capital to the will of the people and to humankind´s survival.
